Roman Domus/house . May I introduce you to Pagnovarias Governor Biblios' and his home. Born in Rome and moved to Britannia to hold the Governors position at Pagnovaria. Governor Biblos’ house (domus) is the biggest in the town and includes his own private garden as well as three bedrooms, kitchen, dinning room and a study; let’s have a look around… . Here’s Governor Biblos in the main courtyard making his way to the forum and onto the basilica. Decia the slave is in the kitchen busy preparing for the lunchtime meal The private garden at the rear of Governor Biblos’ home. Here’s Aetia, Governor Biblos’ wife taking life easy and enjoying the pretty floors. Demetrius the Govenors youngest son enjoying his apple. Demetrius is out in the streets playing with Crassus the cheese merchants son Otho. Unfortuanlty there other friend Decius is sick after eating a dodgy fish (See the Roman Street Corner) Here’s a view of the ceiling from the entrance (oh for a small camera to get a better picture) He’s the view of the ceiling when the roof is turned upside down.
