Magnificence . Brig . You want one? Support my LEGO Ideas project! - - - - My newest ship, I worked on the 'Red Beard Runner's red hulls (on which I previously built the Demon) the proportions aren't very accurate, I guess my Idea was too big for the hulls to carry, you see, using only 2 midsections makes it a relative short ship. Anyway, it has some good points too, the cabin worked out nicely, I came in possesion of 12 small windows (see the main picture), I found them on a jumble sale and they served perfect on the stern, one of the nicest cabin details I've ever aplied I must say. the ship has a better interior compared to my previous ships, In this ship I used all of the available space, like the compartiment in the back which I used for a rudder system (in my previous big ships either the bow, the stern or both had a unused space. The official Hull pieces are nice but they limit the possibilities. There ship is a staircase in the bow but not the most efficient one, In the colonial times they made the stairs in ships small so they wouldn't take too much space, mine would fit better in a house so you see again, realism isn't the best quality of this ship. Anyway, it has been built and it took a lot of work so I'm showing it off anyway, feedback is appreciated . A broadside of 7 cannonballs. I used a lot of tan bricks on thisone, It's my favourite color to use. Fire !!!!! The cabin The ship has a 'working' (I have to open the cabin to make it work) ruther chain, it's not connected to the steering wheel though, otherwise their would have been a big construction in the cabin and that wouldn't allow me to show of my awesome furniture :P There are several hatches and removeable plates allowing to view the interior. In the back you can see the ruther chain. The barrels are filled with rum ( those soldiers need to be motivated :P) The forecastle has a staircase. The furniture (when sailing these rough waters you need a comfortable cabin) So, I hope you like it, let me know what you think of it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Support my LEGO Ideas project!
