Sidneys1's Wall-E Bot v1 . The one Wall-E to recycle them all... . Ok, ok. I know you have probably seen an awful lot of wall-e bots, but this one is different. It is more proportional, is stronger, more rigid, and has a working gripper that locks closed. This bot actually started as the right arm, then the left and right tracks, then the body, then the head. After making slight adjutments to the location of the battery box switch, I remade the gripper arm, repositioned the shoulder motors, repositioned the buggy motor, and redid the interior, and finally added cover panels. I am still not perfectly happy with the way this bot ended up, and will probably have to wait untill I have another turntable, as well as PF or another buggy motor. The arm: The right arm has a low-geared shoulder joint for strength, as well as a new compact gripper design. In the future, the gripper may be pneumatically powered, but for now a worm gear will have to do. Oh yeah, and Wall-e stands for "Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class"
