full auto electric mp5 brickshooter . a replica of the mp5 that works using a similar mechanism to my full auto machine gun . and another mp5... this one is much better. using the same basic mechanism as the full auto electric machine gun, this one is styled to look like Heckler&Koch's mp5a5. it uses a rubber band wheel, only this one has been scaled down considerably so that i can fit it inside the basic shape of an mp5 (only just!). the gun features a working safety catch, a 20 brick magazine, sights, and a full auto function (obviously). one problem with the design is that the bullets fly out at exactly the right tragectory that they hit the front sight. to counter this problem i put the sight on a hinge, so that just before shooting it can be flipped out of harms way and stop the gun look like its exploding. another problem is that i couldnt fit in a telescopic stock. there simply wasnt enough room. oh well. i can live with that. but as far as problems go, thats it! the gun is great, with a good range and a very high rate of fire. videos: as i say in the mp5 vid, the gun ran out of battery, so ive put the vid of the other machine gun here as well, so you can see how it works when fully charged... mp5 machine gun pics: the other side empty clip front sight flipped down and up rear sight part of the mechanism with the rubber band wheel and you can see the first bullet underneath. more mechanism stock safety catch, safe and ready the transformer that turns 2 inputs of 9v into an output of 18v fps view thats it! hope you like it and dont forget to comment!
