Technic Lego Crossbow (or Balista?) . My fully working Techinc Lego crossbow!! . About 2 1/2 years ago I made a crossbow (or possibly a Balista) out of Technic Lego. It took me a good few weeks of tinkering each day to build and perfect. The power was supplied by lots and lots of very good quality rubber bands. I only got a few firings in when parts started to break, after about 5 goes a few of the main beams in the arms broke and that was that! After this I dismantled it and moved onto my next project which included marbles (please see my other videos on Youtube) Unfortunately I don't have any build instructions, photos or even the Lego anymore as it was all lost in a house fire in Dec 2007 :( Below is a video of the crossbow in action, thank you for looking :)
