The Bug and Spike Chamber . "There's gonna be two dead people in here, HURRY!" In a thrilling sequence, Short Round and Indy stare down death in the eyes as they're trapped inside a crusher, complete with spikes. . The boulder blocking the entrance is a giant wheel from an old star destroyer set I had. The top wall was built on a SNOT scale, with the spikes hanging down in construction. The bottom spikes are thorns held by clips on the floor. I grabbed them and held them up in place to cause the effect. Although you can't see it good in this picture, I used a gear mechanism to lower and raise it. I got the pieces needed from the hideout in the 7626 Jungle Cutter set. "Maybe I step on fortune cookie." "That's not fortune cookies." The bugs are composed of spiders and scorpions, but I usually mix the giant ants in for maximum creepiness.
